Harcourt House Artist Run Centre is celebrating the double opening of “New Territories” and “Exposed: Naked Show,” running from June 18 – July 10th and June 30th respectively at the Harcourt House 3rd Floor Gallery, with a BBQ at 6pm. The BBQ will feature food and drinks provided by event sponsors The Keg and Alley Kat.
Complementing the Works Art and Design Festival’s 2015 theme, “Making Space,” Harcourt House’s 27th Annual Members’ Show “New Territories” will feature pieces that push art to its limits.
The 23rd Annual “Exposed: Naked Show” will feature drawings, paintings and sculptures from Harcourt House’s drop-in sessions with live models.
In addition to the featured exhibits, many of Harcourt House’s 41 studio spaces will be open to the public. Studio artists will also be on site to discuss their work. Pieces from both “New Territories” and “Exposed: Naked Show” will be available for sale. All proceeds from the barbecue and 20% of each piece sold will go to Harcourt House’s operations.
