Harcourt House Artist Run Centre is seeking submissions of challenging, contemporary work from local and national established artists for exhibitions in our Main Gallery for the 2026/27 exhibition seasons.

The Art Incubator Gallery

Harcourt House Artist Run Centre is accepting submissions from contemporary emerging artists and recently graduated art students in the Edmonton Capital Region for exhibitions in our Art Incubator Gallery for the 2026 exhibition season.
The Art Incubator Gallery is a space for individual and collaborative artists to showcase new work fresh from the studio, experimental work in progress, or timely projects from artists residing specifically in the Greater Edmonton region.

Members’ Exhibition
Submission Deadline: Friday, May 9, 2025, by 11 pm.
This call for submissions is for new and current Harcourt House Artist Run Centre’s members in good standing (paid membership). If you are practicing, non-member artist interested in participating, please go to https://harcourthouse.ab.ca/become-a-member/, stop by Harcourt’s Office or call during regular business hours (Monday to Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm) for membership information. Students and seniors are eligible for membership discounts. Artwork must have been produced in the last year.
Naked Show

Harcourt House Artist Run Centre invites all participants from Live Model Sessions to submit their work to the 2025 Harcourt House Annual Naked Show and Art Sale. Submitted artwork must be created during the 2024-2025 Drop-in Life Drawing, Draw Till You Drop, orWeekend/Long Weekend with the Model sessions.
Artist in Residence at Harcourt House
Submission Deadline: Friday, August 8, 2025, by 11 pm.
Harcourt House Artist Run Centre is accepting submissions for its 2024/2025 Artist-In-Residence (AIR) Program. The residency will be for a period of one year, starting on November 1, 2025, and ending October 31, 2026.
The Artist-In-Residence Project was created in 2002 by the Board of Directors of W.E.C.A.N. Society/Harcourt House Artist Run Centre with the aim of contributing to the development of an emerging artist. The program provides the artist with a stable working environment and helps with the maintenance of a professional studio space and artistic practice. The project is open to visual artists who are Canadian residents working in any visual art media including: sculpture, painting, printmaking, digital art, mixed media, photography, film, and video.
