Boost your figure drawing skills by drawing live models in a variety of poses and durations. Uninstructed 3-hour figure drawing sessions in our Art Education Room #1 in our Annex Building. It’s a great place to meet other artists, hone and develop your drawing abilities in a supportive and creative environment. All experience levels are welcome. Easels, tables and chairs are available for use. Participants provide their own drawing materials. Life Drawing Drop-In Sessions are a unique component to Harcourt House’s educational programming.

Summer Schedule Update: Drop-in Drawing & Long Pose Sessions
Please note that the regular Drop-in Drawing schedule will be interrupted by our Annual Naked Show and Art Sale. Regular classes will finish on Wednesday June 10th and will resume Monday July 13th. There will be a free drop-in figure drawing class on Saturday July 4th from 1- 4PM as part of the Annual Harcourt House Open House.
Also please note that Sunday Long Pose sessions will be paused for the summer from July 12th through September 6, 2026. Sunday Long Pose sessions will resume on a monthly basis beginning September 13, 2026.
There will also be a Draw ’till You Drop to get the summer started on Saturday July 11th from 9AM to 6:30PM and a Long Weekend with the Model August 1st – 3rd.
