Marcie Rohr explores – in her expressive body of work – a compelling story of personal history of her family: European ancestry, war conflicts, land, relocation, musing on things carried and left behind, dreams, hopes and aspirations.  Rohr is one of the emerging but artistically prolific visual artists and social activists based in Edmonton. She co-founded Papercastle Art Collective, an organization which facilitates collaboration between the arts and social justice projects.
