This Introductory class will cover all basic aspects of making your own pendants and earrings in a fun, creative way. Learn quick and easy steps to create your own jewelry to wear or gift. You will learn how to mix acrylic paints to make a skin for art pendants and to know what materials to use to develop your unique jewelry designs. In this course we will cover creating acrylic skin while using different techniques and materials. With the right instruction and a little bit of practice, you too will soon be able to make your own stunning art necklace and earrings! Come get creative and enjoy all the compliments to come on your own wearable art.
Atya Khan is a visual artist/educator living in Edmonton. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Punjab, Pakistan. As an abstract expressionist artist for over 20 years, she has loved colours in acrylic and oil paints. She works to create an experience for further self-discovery and creativity inherent in the artistic process. She provides a comfortable and inspiring environment where people can tap into an intuitive realm. To her, there is no concept of right or wrong while creating a unique piece of art.
