Goodwill Industries of Alberta proudly presents Art For Impact, an inspiring art exhibit that celebrates creativity, inclusion, and sustainability. The showcase features artwork created by Goodwill Team Members, including individuals with disabilities, highlighting their unique talents and perspectives. Through art, the exhibit promotes the importance of inclusive employment opportunities and Goodwill’s ongoing commitment to environmental responsibility.
This exhibition also brings together a piece of shared history between Harcourt House Artist Run Centre and Goodwill Industries of Alberta. From 1965 to 1987, Goodwill – under the moniker Rehabilitation Society for the Handicapped – called Harcourt ‘s Main Building home. With Art For Impact, we are excited to connect these two longstanding Edmonton non-profit organizations.
About the Organization
Goodwill Industries of Alberta is a non-profit social enterprise dedicated to providing individuals with disabilities the opportunity to enhance their lives through meaningful employment. With a strong commitment to sustainability and community impact, Goodwill creates inclusive work environments where diverse talents are celebrated and supported.
Through initiatives like Art For Impact, Goodwill highlights the creativity and contributions of its Team Members – many of whom live with disabilities – while raising awareness about the importance of inclusion and environmental responsibility. This unique art exhibit embodies Goodwill’s mission to connect ability with opportunity, offering a platform for self-expression and empowerment through art.
By supporting Goodwill, communities help build a more inclusive, compassionate, and sustainable Alberta.
