2D + 3D Drop-In Sessions

Drawing and Sculpture Drop-In  Sessions are a unique component to Harcourt House’s educational programming:


DROP-IN >  Scupture Sessions
Fee: $15 per session; $105 for a block of 8 (members $90)
+ Box of clay: $30, firing is not included

Uninstructed 3-hour Sculpture Drop-In Sessions are offered once a week at our Art Education Room #2 in the Annex Building. This drop-in provides a structured environment for artists of all skill levels to investigate the human form and develop their figurative sculpting skills in a supportive and creative environment. Tables, chairs and stands are available for use. Participants purchase clay on site and provide their own sculpting materials.

Mondays* from 7 pm – 10 pm
Art Education Room #2, ANNEX Building, 10211 – 112 Street, Edmonton

DROP-IN >  Drawing Sessions
Fee: $15 per session; $105 for a block of 8 (members $90)

Boost your figure drawing skills by drawing live models in a variety of poses and durations. Uninstructed 3-hour figure drawing sessions are offered three times per week (plus one long pose session first Sunday of each month*) at our Art Education Room #1 in the Annex Building. It’s a great place to meet other artists, hone and develop your drawing abilities in a supportive and creative environment. All experience levels are welcome. Easels, tables and chairs are available for use. Participants provide their own drawing materials.

Mondays from 1 pm – 4 pm (short pose)
Wednesdays, Fridays* from 7 pm – 10 pm (short pose)
First Sundays of a month** from 1 pm – 4 pm (long pose)

* no sessions on statutory holidays. During July – September drawing drop-in sessions are offered only on Wednesdays.

Please note: Harcourt House Artist Run Centre employs experienced and professional models for all sessions, and is committed to representing diversity. Studio monitors are on hand to stage models, keep time, and ensure prompt start time.
