There are many benefits to volunteering at Harcourt House Artist Run Centre! Those who offer their abilities can learn transferable skills and network with artists, curators, and arts administrators. It’s a chance to become part of Edmonton’s burgeoning artistic community, and to witness how local art can make an impact provincially, nationally, and internationally.
Opportunities include, but are not limited to:
GALLERY SUPPORT
- Gallery attendant
- Exhibition install and strike
- Opening receptions: prep/cleanup, bartending/greeting
EVENTS AND FUNDRAISERS
Roles may involve recruiting volunteers and participants, marketing the event, coordinating logistics of the event, sourcing supplies, communicating with sponsors and more.
EDUCATION
- Teaching assistant
- Classroom maintenance
OUTREACH/MARKETING
Roles may involve creating and running marketing campaigns, hand out flyers/ posters, running info sessions/booth and more
