THERAPEUTIC MANDALA MAKING

Wednesdays, 6:30 pm – 9:30 pm, April 4 – May 23
Mandala, Sanskrit for circle, has been used across centuries, cultures and religions as a tool for contemplation, devotion, expression and self-discovery. This 8-week series will include a variety of individual and group mandala making activities, opportunities for insight, expression and reflection. Participants will create mandalas; some individual, some group, some lasting, some transient. Each evening will include an invitation to deepen the introspective experience(s) through journaling and other forms of artistic response and optional sharing.
Class Location: Annex Building Art Education Classroom 2 (Sculpture Room), 10215 – 112 Street NW, Edmonton.
