2021 Art-O-Members’-Naked Show Art Sale Fundraiser
January 22 – March 5, 2021
Presenting Sponsor: EPCOR through their Heart + Soul Fund
Harcourt House’s management invites all art connoisseurs to invest in the impressive body of works presented in Harcourt’s current “Art-O-Members’-Naked Show Art Sale Fundraiser” until March 5, 2021 in support of Harcourt’s art exhibitions and art education programs.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the management had to reschedule Harcourt’s Annual Members’ and Naked Shows (usually featured in June/July each year). These exhibitions cum art sale fundraiser have been combined with our Annual Art-O-Rama Art Sale Fundraiser (usually held in December each year) to create Harcourt’s first and hopefully only “Art-O-Member’s-Naked Show Art Sale Fundraiser” with its three autonomous content components:
With the recent situation with the pandemic and the mandatory lockdown, the management had no other options as to change a format of this fundraiser from an in-person presentation to an online version, which will be held until March 5, 2021 in the specially designed three virtual ‘Art Galleries’ on Harcourt’s website at www.harcourthouse.ab.ca showcasing the exemplary works from a diverse range of 52 contemporary Canadian artists from Edmonton, Calgary, Mississauga, and beyond.
The works can be purchased until March 5, 2021 by emailing email@example.com or calling Harcourt House during business hours, Monday through Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm, tel. 780-426-4180. We accept cash, cheques, Debit Card, VISA, and Master Card. The purchased works will be available for pick up at Harcourt’s office during the business hours upon previous arrangement with Harcourt’s staff.
As a not-for-profit artist-run-centre, Harcourt House has played an important role in Edmonton’s visual arts community and the community at large since 1988. Proceeds from the “Art-O-Members’-Naked Show Art Sale Fundraiser” directly contribute to our mission of supporting artists and exhibitions as well as developing and presenting engaging public programming. With the funds raised we continue to provide an important forum for risk-taking and experimental art practices that foster the dynamic and invaluable discourses on Canadian and international contemporary visual/new media arts, architecture, and design.
With the generous sponsorship by EPCOR and support of our funding institutions, patrons, friends, and supporters we will be able to produce another year of scholarly researched, innovative, and thought-provoking programming.
