In part II of Atya’s class continue to experiment with paints and a variety of conceptual and technical approaches to abstract painting. This class is open to students of any skill level and it is not necessary to take the first section as a prerequisite to enrol. You will explore the use of colour, shapes, lines, and texture. Fill in large areas of canvas quickly with textures and ripple marks. Experiment with stencils, cut-outs and overlaying to add depth and variety to your imagery. Apply suggested techniques to create your own personal masterpiece in this fun, easy class with a relaxed atmosphere.
Class Location: Annex Building Art Education Classroom, 10215 – 112 Street NW, Edmonton.
