COLLAGE WORKSHOP
w/Brandi Strauss
Members: $40
Non-Members: $50
Saturday, April 28, 12 – 5pm
Image making through collage is limitless, with its inexhaustible variety of styles, approaches and techniques. Collage is a way to deconstruct and reconstruct images and affect the way we view the world and can challenge our notions of what is real. The course would entail guidance through the process of collage, from many different approaches – scanning, tearing, cutting. Spontaneity is encouraged, as well as a disciplined approach while manipulating the images and/or words you’ve chosen. Collaging is boundless. You can use paper, paint, cloth, objects, as well as make them two or three dimensional.
Class Location: Annex Building Art Education Classroom, 10215 – 112 Street NW, Edmonton.
Please ring buzzer upon arrival.
