The artwork selected for this exhibition + art sale fundraiser embraces the rich and conceptual diversity of conceptual and formalistic approaches to the aspect of human form. Featuring drawings, paintings, and sculpture from Harcourt’s Live Model Drawing Classes and from Harcourt’s tenant artist studios, the exhibition “EmBODY + EmBRACE” allows the viewers to contemplate the beauty of the human body from the perspective of several stylistic directions in the history of art, ranging from Realism, Impressionism, Post-Impressionism through Cubism and Expressionism, to semi-abstract forms and multi-media compositions.
