Typewriter Workshop – Saturday June 17, 2017 12pm – 5pm
At the Typewriter Workshop, 5 (F I V E!!) typewriters (both electric and manual) and various paper will be available for you to use! Come type that poem or song lyric that’s been burning in your brain, make a collage and type to add some words, or just settle in to listen to that click clack noise!
Bonnie Patton is an American in Canada with an unrelenting hunger for language and art. To satiate this hunger she indulges in reading and writing and learning a bit about everything and making things with her hands. Her favourite materials are words, paper, ink, cardboard, typewriters, and photocopiers.
Bonnie has a 2011 BFA in Fine Arts (Studio Art) from the University of Lethbridge. She is currently based in a basement studio in Edmonton, Alberta, henceforth named the Better Than A Bathroom Studio and Gallery.
