Call for Submissions

Exhibition Title: Kinetic: 25^th Annual Members’ Exhibition

Open to: New and current members of Harcourt House Artist Run Centre, working in any media.

Submission drop off: Monday, May 27^th to Saturday, June 1^st

Drop-off times: Mon – Fri 10am – 5pm, Sat noon – 4pm

**NOTE: Submissions will only be accepted during designated submissions drop off dates and times.

Exhibition Dates: June 13 – July 5, 2013

Opening Reception: June 20^th, 2013 from 6 – 10pm

This annual exhibition coincides with The Works Art and Design Festival and in keeping with their 2013 theme Energy III: Human Energy, Harcourt House is challenging artists to create/select their submissions based on the exhibition title Kinetic.

Kinetic provides an opportunity for our membership of artists to exhibit and sell their work and doubles as a fundraiser for the centre. If you choose to sell your work, Harcourt House will receive a 20% commission, included in the price of the sale. Each artist may submit a maximum of three works for the exhibition and is guaranteed to have one work displayed, provided they adhere to the following criteria.

1. Artworks submitted must have been produced within the past year.
2. Artworks must be framed and ready to hang/install and equipped with the necessary hanging hardware, if applicable. *WORKS THAT ARE NOT READY TO HANG WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
3. Artworks must have dimensions no larger than 3’ x 3’. **Exceptions may me made at the curator’s discretion.
4. Works must remain in the gallery as a part of the exhibition for the duration of the show.
5. Submission application must be completed. (Available at the gallery & on our website)

This call is open to artists working in any media.
