Installation & Exhibitions

Harcourt House would like to give volunteers the opportunity to help us with prepping and taking down installations and exhibits… and who are we kidding, we need you.

• Who: People who are interested in hands on tasks and learning more about what it takes to put up a good show. Previous experience is not necessary but would be beneficial.
• When: We have roughly 10 shows a year, one a month.

ADMINISTRATIVE Support

For the people who are interested in assisting with office related jobs, there are a lot of tasks that our small team just doesn’t have the time for. For example:

• filing
• manning the front desk on Tuesdays & Thursdays
• shredding old documents
• answering the phone
• photocopying
• greeting visitors & showing them around the space

Special Events & Fundraisers

Harcourt House has many fun events throughout the year that are only made possible due to the awesomeness of our volunteers. These events, fundraisers, and festivals include:

• DRAW
• our 10 curated shows throughout each year
• membership show & BBQ
• auction fundraiser
• Halloween party

Volunteers are needed for a variety of tasks, such as reception at the front desk, selling tickets, coat check, serving & dish washing, auction monitoring, bartending, and packaging art.

Other

For volunteers with any special skills, talents, resources, equipment. For example:

• pick-up truck delivery & drop-off (cost of gas will be reimbursed)
• janitorial & custodial work
• teaching /assisting with art classes
• marketing distribution
